A CHORAL LEGACY

One of the premier mid-sized choirs in New York City, Central City Chorus provides world-class performance experiences for its singers and audiences. The highly accomplished 65-voice chorus of dedicated volunteer singers is hailed by The New Yorker as the city’s “fine avocational choir.” The Chorus performs a variety of music, spanning a wide range of periods and geographic origins, from a cappella works to choral-orchestral masterpieces.

Under the conducting leadership and innovative programming of Director Dr. Bryan Zaros, the Chorus continues its growth, musically and professionally, and provides members with an uplifting and welcoming community.

A CHORAL COMMUNITY

Central City Chorus is so much more than singers who enjoy rehearsing and performing great choral music.  We are also a thriving community in which lifelong friendships are forged. One event that brings our community together is our cabaret. Staged annually in addition to the three concerts we prepare for each season, the cabaret highlights the diverse talent of individuals and small groups from the Chorus.
