MAKE WE JOY: AN ELIZABETHAN CHRISTMAS
This concert honors the 400th anniversary of the death of William Byrd. The program features Byrd’s “Mass for Four Voices,” “Haec dies,” and “Laudibus in sanctis,” interspersed with music by Byrd’s contemporaries – Thomas Tallis, Thomas Morley – and modern composers influenced by Byrd – R. Vaughan Williams, Benjamin Britten, and Edmund Rubbra.

BRUCKNER 200: THE MUSICAL FOREFATHERS AND DISCIPLES OF ANTON BRUCKNER
This concert celebrates the 200th anniversary of the birth of Bruckner. The program includes Bruckner’s “Ecce Sacerdos,” “Te Deum,” “Locus iste,” “Os justi,” “Ave Maria,” and “Virga Jesse,” joined by pieces by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Arnold Schoenberg, Johann Sebastian Bach, Gustav Mahler, Johannes Brahms, and Richard Wagner.
